Introducing Dahlia x Bohemia, an Edinburgh Pop Up
As a homegrown small business, Bohemia Design has been based in Edinburgh's historic port of Leith for over a decade. Whilst we work with artisans across the globe to make our unique products, the day to day running of our Leith office and warehouse is carried out by our small eight strong, all female team, including our founder and creative director Jenny Lockton.
Jenny has been a prominent face in Edinburgh’s retail scene for years, and it was only fitting that her daughter, Phoebe, would follow a similar path. Opening in the picturesque Stockbridge area of Edinburgh in 2020, Phoebe’s beautiful shop Dahlia was born. Stocking a vibrant array of dried flowers (arranged by phoebe herself), vases, candles and floral inspired homewares, Dahlia has become a Stockbridge must-see over the past few years.
In the Summer of 2022, Phoebe and Jenny decided that a collaboration between their two businesses was long overdue, and they joined together to create Dahlia x Bohemia, a mother and daughter collaboration which brings together beautiful blooms with handwoven homewares from around the globe.
In the newly branded Dahlia x Bohemia store, you’ll find a collection of floral inspired babouche slippers, handwoven baskets, beautiful handcrafted tableware and much much more. If you’re local or if you’re visiting Edinburgh, you can visit the store from Thursday - Sunday and pick up some beautiful artisanal homewares and joyful flowers for your own home.
