Often described as French market baskets, our hand woven shopping baskets are actually made in Morocco, the traditional palm leaf designs originating from the north of the country and in rural villages around Marrakech.
Our reed shoppers are woven in the coastal regions and are a popular new addition to our range. In recent years the humble basket bag has become an indispensable wardrobe staple and a fabulous example of slow fashion, both an ethical and sustainable alternative to the ubiquitous plastic bag. Palm leaf baskets make for great beach baskets, tote shoppers and picnic baskets.
