Christmas FAQs

At Bohemia, we are working hard to make sure shopping with us this festive season is easy and stress-free. We have answered a few common questions about delivery and our products, and if you don’t find the answer you need, simply message us info@bohemiadesign.co.uk and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Shipping

1. Do you offer free shipping?
We offer free shipping on orders over £50 in the UK and free shipping on orders over £150 in Europe and the Rest of the World.

2. How much does shipping cost?
We offer free shipping on orders over £50 in the UK. Standard Shipping costs £3.95. Next-day Delivery is available for orders placed Monday to Thursday before 1pm, (excluding Filled Pouffes) and costs £8.95. Saturday Delivery is available for orders placed by 1pm Friday and costs £20.

We offer free shipping on orders over £150 in Europe. Standard Shipping costs £10.95 and Express Shipping costs £25. 

We offer free worldwide shipping on orders over £150. Standard delivery costs £12.95.* 

3. How long will my order take to arrive in the UK?
We offer free shipping on orders over £50 which takes 3 to 5 working days to arrive. Our Standard Delivery is via Royal Mail Tracked which also takes 3 to 5 working days. Next-day Delivery is available for orders placed Monday to Thursday before 1pm, this excludes Filled Pouffes. Saturday Delivery is also available for orders placed by 1pm Friday.

We aim to deliver within the timeframes noted above, however, Royal Mail is currently experiencing significant delays with parcels taking longer to arrive than expected. 

4. How long will my order take to arrive in Europe?
We offer free shipping on orders over £150 which takes 7 to 10 working days to arrive. Our Standard Delivery also takes 7 to 10 working days. Express Shipping is available with delivery of 2 to 3 working days. Due to Brexit and packages from the UK being subject to import duties and customs charges, there are likely delays with deliveries to Europe.

5. How long will my order take to arrive in Rest of the World?
We offer free shipping on orders over £150 which takes 7 to 10 working days to arrive. Our Standard Delivery also takes 7 to 10 working days. Express Shipping is available with delivery of 2 to 3 working days. 

6. Are there any additional costs because of Brexit?
For deliveries to countries in the European Union, the purchaser may incur additional import duties and customs charges. These are levied at the port of ingress and are the responsibility of the purchaser.

7. Are there delays due to COVID-19?
Packages are being processed on time at Bohemia, however, there is the possibility that COVID-19 will affect staffing at our warehouse. The Royal Mail and various couriers are experiencing delays which are beyond our control. 

8. What is your latest order date for guaranteed Christmas delivery in the UK?
The last order date for standard delivery is Wednesday 15th December. For Next Day Delivery, the last order date is Tuesday 21st December.

9. What is your latest order date for guaranteed Christmas delivery outside of the UK?
Last order dates for International Delivery are:

10. Which couriers do you use?
All orders are sent by Royal Mail 48 or by courier services including DPD, UPS, DHL, TNT and Parcel Force. For international deliveries, Royal Mail works in conjunction with the local postal service of each country.

11. I need my order by a specific date, which service should I use?
Our Standard Delivery takes up to 5 working days so we recommend ordering in advance. We also have Next Day Delivery options which can be applied to orders placed Monday to Thursday before 1pm. 

12. Are your postal services tracked?
Our standard UK shipping with Royal Mail tracks when a delivery attempt or delivery is made. Our next day delivery is a fully tracked service with DPD. All international services are also tracked.

13. Will my Filled Pouffe arrive in time for Christmas?
All filled pouffes are shipped with DPD via a next day delivery service, however, we stuff all pouffes to order in our Edinburgh warehouse and we ask you to allow 5 working days for this. We recommend ordering by 14th December for UK deliveries to arrive in time for Christmas. 


Returns

1. Do you offer free returns?
We offer free returns within the UK provided that the item is returned in its original and unused condition, with all tags still attached and with all original packaging. Our free returns form can be downloaded here.

Once we have received the returned item(s), we will issue a full refund minus the original delivery charge. Original delivery charges are non-refundable. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount. Please use adequate packaging to protect your package during transit.

Please note that the buyer must pay return postage for oversized items including extra-large baskets, stuffed pouffes, halfah grass cacti, rugs and Moroccan wedding blankets/ handira.

2. Can gifts be returned?
Yes, gifts can be returned in their original and unused condition, with all tags still attached and with all original packaging. To return a gift, please contact us info@bohemiadesign.co.uk

3. Do you offer an extended returns window over Christmas?
Our returns period is 60 days. 

4. Do you offer an exchange service?
We do not offer an exchange service, however, you are welcome to return unwanted items and make a new purchase. 


Products

1. Do you have a shortage of products due to COVID-19 and Brexit?
We source our products directly from Morocco, India, Kenya, and Turkey. We have maintained our connections and supply chains throughout this period, and are able to keep our products in stock. However, as our products are handmade we receive our orders in small batches, meaning we restock frequently with smaller quantities.

2. Where are your products from?
We source our products directly from Morocco, India, Kenya, and Turkey. Each product is handmade by skilled artisans, with our suppliers all adhering to ethical and sustainable practices. 

3. Do you offer Gift Wrapping?
We offer a gift-wrapping service which is available at checkout. Gift-wrapping costs £2 for the first product, and an additional £0.50 for each additional product.

4. Can I include a personal message for gifts?
Personalised messages can be added to gifts as part of our gift-wrapping service. Gift-wrapping costs £2 for the first product, and an additional £0.50 for each additional product.

 

*Standard Shipping does not apply to the following countries: Kuwait, Jordan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Qatar. For international orders under £150, shipping costs are calculated by volumetric weight and will be added to your order at checkout.
