Moroccan Decorative Heart Babouche Slippers, Mustard
Skilfully crafted decorative leather babouche slippers handmade in a small workshop on the outskirts of Marrakech using age-old traditional techniques and the simplest of hand tools.
First the leather is dyed by hand a striking mustard tone and dried under the hot Moroccan sun. The intricate, arabesque floral design is carefully cut by female artisans to reveal the natural leather beneath.
Our classic pointed toe slipper shoes have a firm leather sole which allows them to be worn outside in dry conditions as well as indoors. They are more hardwearing than our soft soled, round toe babouche and therefore suitable for homes with tiled and rough wooden floors.
Our Babouche Slippers come with a free cotton drawstring travel bag. If you would prefer to not receive the free drawstring bag, please leave us a note on checkout.
