Inspired by milagro ‘miracle’ votives, our collection of embossed metal decorations are crafted to bespoke illustrations inspired by Celtic folklore and nature. These decorative charms can be seen as a source of good luck and protection in the way that many cultures have used votive symbols in their homes and holy places over the centuries.
Swallows symbolise love, hope, home and renewal, with a connection to the realms of death and rebirth. The swallow’s migration patterns reveal a strong sense of loyalty and family as they return to the same nesting ground each year. Their arrival is associated with the start of summer and demonstrate the cyclical nature of life, change and ever new possibilities.
Hang the votives individually or in groups from the ring attachment on the reverse, or add a velvet ribbon or colourful thread for an extra touch of magic.
