5 Home Trends for Summer 2022
As the days get longer and brighter, we're getting ready to spend as much time enjoying the outdoors as we do the indoors.
Summer 2022 sees the merging of indoor/outdoor living as we strive to create a seamless transition between the two worlds, creating bright open spaces and welcoming flowers and green foliage into our homes. The key design trend for this season - and beyond into the year ahead - focuses on self-care, sacred spaces and wellbeing.
Bohemia Design takes a look into 5 key interior trends for Summer 2022, from linear patterns to 70's boho and travel inspired interiors. We've put together a special shopping edit, creating our own Bohemia style take on each trend.
1. Lines and Stripes
Stripes are a classic, timeless pattern that can elevate any home regardless of your chosen colour palette. They're a huge interior trend for Summer 2022, and you can bring them into your home in a number of ways, whether that be through cushions, throws, curtains or even a feature wall.
We'll be looking to our Hammam Towels this season to add a classic stripe to our home. Crafted from the softest Turkish cotton, we love them draped across the sofa or our garden furniture to add depth and a subtle pop of colour to our decor.

2. 70's Boho
70's style just keeps coming back, and there's so many ways to experiment with this trend in small and simple ways. Bring the outside in with green leaves and hand woven hanging baskets, or have fun with pattern and embrace the comeback of flower power within your home decor.

3. Culture & Craft
Celebrating worldwide cultures and their skilled craftsmanship is integral to everything we do at Bohemia Design. Our Babouche slippers are a timeless take on this trend, ethically handmade in Morocco in inspiring crafting communities. Take time for yourself at the end of your day and relax in your favourite pair of slippers, it's the little acts of self care that can make a big difference.

4. Multifunctional
When style and function go hand in hand, it's a match made in heaven. That's why we love this trend! Our handmade baskets are not only perfect for taking to the Sunday market, but for chic storage too. Store cushions and blankets, towels or shoes in our ethically made baskets, and make home organisation that little bit more enjoyable!

5. Travel Inspired Interiors
This trend is close to our heart. Our products at Bohemia Design are handmade with love by artisans around the globe, and what better time to celebrate them than right now? Perfect for alfresco dining, our handmade walnut wood collection pays the perfect homage to this trend. From tagine spice pots to honey dippers and incense holders, there's a huge variety of ways to bring this trend into your home that are not only beautiful, but functional too.
