Meet the Team
Jenny Lockton - Owner
Born: "Sutton Coldfield, the middle of England, a long way from the sea."
If you could have any 3 people over for a dinner party who would it be?
Michael Palin, to be entertained by tall travellers tales & Monty Python stories - such a lovely man.
The Dalai Lama, for his wisdom & heartfelt laughter - another lovely man!
Frida Kahlo, a feisty female presence & natural beauty with her great courage & passion for life.
What would you cook for them?
I'd cook a rich Moroccan tagine with preserved lemons, olives & toasted almonds & side dish of salad leaves & pomegranate for the intense colour & earthy exotic flavour. Mop up the juices with delicious flat breads & wash down with fine wine or handmade lemonade & mint tea.

If you could have any 3 people over for a dinner party who would it be?
I've found it hard to narrow it down to 3 people as there are so many people that I would like to invite. I would probably have to have weekly dinner parties with 3 different guests at a time. The first 3 that I would invite round for tea might be:
Matt Preston - The cravat wearing judge from Australian Masterchef, he always seems to have some funny anecdotes and hopefully wouldn't be too critical of the food. He would also probably bring a great bottle of wine to the party.
Lauren Graham - Because I loved Gilmore Girls, Parenthood and Bad Santa! She might clear us out at an after dinner game of Poker though.
Michael Stipe - I love REM and I think he would have some interesting conversation.
What would you cook for them?
I'm not sure what I would cook but there would definitely be an amazing dessert involved, some great pre-dinner nibbles and a packed cheese board.
What would be your party piece/entertainment?
As a party piece I would learn some amazing magic tricks to dazzle my guests or I would gather everyone around the piano and we could all have a good old sing-song!

If you could have any 3 people over for a dinner party who would it be?
I would love to have some great story tellers at my dinner party so I would go for Jools Holland, for his musical tales, David Attenborough, needs no explaining, and Keith Lemon as he would keep everyone laughing!
What would you cook them?
Come Dine With Me has taught me that it's best to cook something that you can prepare beforehand, so maybe I'd roast a few butternut squashes and stuff them with couscous! And Eton Mess for pudding!
What would be your party piece/entertainment for them?
A game of Twister, and hopefully a singsong with Jools round a piano (Alison can I borrow your piano?) after a few glasses of wine!

If you could have any 3 people over for a dinner party who would it be?
I'd have Judy Garland (because she is beautiful and wonderful), Bill Murray (because he is the best, obviously), and Fyodor Dostoevsky (so he can give us all a laugh with one of his famous jokes...).
What would you cook them?
I hate cooking, so we would order pizza and I'd bake a bleeding enormous cake which must be finished before I allow anyone to leave.
What would be your party piece/entertainment for them?
I might wow everybody (Judy especially) by being really great at miming along to Judy Garland songs. Or, I might just do the crab. Either/or, really.
Nora Wilson - Sales Assistant

If you could have any 3 people over for a dinner party who would it be?
Neil Degrasse Tyson (hilarious genius scientist who could answer all your questions about anything)
JK Rowling (so she would answer all my Harry Potter questions)
David Sedaris (hilarious and a bit insane and definitely appreciates a good party)
What would you cook for them?
I would cook them fondue, because who doesn't love melted cheese and chocolate?
What would be your party piece/entertainment?
Evening entertainment, despite many (one) requests that I dance, I think instead (drunk, but maybe don't include that detail) MONOPOLY.

If you could have any 3 people over for a dinner party who would it be?
It would have to be some sort of comedy trio like The Three Stooges or Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant & Karl Pilkington. Or even my favourite comedians Louis C.K, Bernie Mac and Chris Rock. That way I wouldn't have to entertain much just the banter alone would have me rolling about clutching my sides.
What would you cook them?
I'd call around and ask what people would prefer as I wouldn't want to serve something everyone will hate even if that meant me cooking 3 or 4 seperate dishes. Just gimme a cookbook and I can do it!!
What would be your party piece/entertainment?
Now here's where I haven't thought this through. How would I entertain them...a bunch of comedians!!!? Hopefully I'd get them drunk enough so that they wouldn't notice my lack of talent. Job done and good times all round.
